It went down to the last hour of riding on Saturday. To be the lone leader, both Dale Perzanowski and Arun Pandy went to incredible lengths to exceed Rustico’s mind-blowing total. Dale’s Saturday total of nearly 14 hours (315 miles) on Zwift was enough to be crowned Wintertide Rising Champ. Hat’s off to all three of you for putting on an epic battle all week long. By way of illustrating the lengths these men went to, our 4th place finisher, Darren Piotrow would have won last year with his total of 44.7 hours!
On the women’s side, Lisa Stanley put in another big day, adding to her totals, and securing the top female finisher. She also has set a new all-time CCNS Wintertide Rising female record for most hours in the week. Sarah Hreha earns second place female finisher and prior WR women’s champ, Patsy Klotz finished in 3rd. Congratulations to you all!
