CCNS SUnday MOrnings

For nearly 10 years, the CCNS Sunday Morning Ride has been one of the most valuable group training opportunities for riders looking to build fitness through the winter.

What makes this ride special is the strength of the riders and the discipline of the group. You’ll find athletes who could easily turn it into a smash-fest, but instead choose to make it a steady, productive tempo session. Strong riders take the wind, set the pace, and keep the tempo honest. Others are challenged by holding the wheel and learning how to last the distance.

Everyone gets a chance to throw down in the final few uphill miles, where things naturally heat up.

Tried and True

We’ll continue to run the ride in classic “Hammer and Nail” format:
D Group rolls at 8:30 AM
C Group at 8:45
B Group at 9:00 AM
A Group hangs back until 9:10–9:15 AM

When groups come together on the road, riders are welcome to jump into different groups!

New for Winter 2025–26

This winter, we’re hosting the ride once per month. Fewer dates means each one carries a bit more anticipation and accountability! If the weather looks rough, we’ll shift inside to the KISS Americas 100 km race on Zwift, keeping the spirit of the ride alive indoors.

After each ride, join us for coffee or lunch at Perk on Main, right across from our start/finish. We’ll keep things light and fun with awards, honorable mentions, and likely some swag. Expect a few laughs and some good-natured heckling, Dundies-style.

Come ride with CCNS coaches and athletes of all levels for a steady, social, and seriously fun way to get in your winter miles.
