Welcome to 2020 everyone! Here are the updated CCNS Wintertide Rising scoring results. We saw two different approaches on the day from our leaders. Rusty once again completed a 100+ mile ride in Florida, while Meisl took the tactical approach, finishing three separate rides (2 inside, 1 outside) in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
Another big day from Rusty Rustico keeps him in the lead as we close in on halfway through the challenge week. Rides were being added to Strava after this scoring was run at 8 PM EST. If you do not see a ride posted, it will be shown on the scoring tomorrow.
We’ve got a showdown! Here is your leaderboard after day #2 of the 2020 CCNS Wintertide Rising Challenge. Kudos to both Rusty and Meisl for getting two BIG days done. CCNS athlete and Long Island resident Chris Schwenker is a true Zwift aficionado. An elite rider on the DIRT (Dads Inside Riding Trainers) team, Chris has logged thousands of miles and completed hundreds of intervals on the trainer. He has gone from mid-pack finishes in the races to several top-10’s in the recent month.
CCNS athlete Kristin Anderson battled through more than a few tough races this season (hello Quabbin RR 2019!) on her way to a strong cyclocross campaign. Her CX season culminated in an upgrade to Category 3.
Did you know that most athletes OVER-ESTIMATE their FTP and end up training too hard? A CCNS LT Test and Aerobic Assessment is a great way to assess your year and prepare for your 2020 season. It’s also a key part of our CCNS athlete startup protocol.
CCNS athlete Lisa Lochner is a great example of how being willing to try something new can work out great! She’s also a perfect case example of why cyclocross is so popular these days. We sat down with her as she is halfway through her furst full season of ‘cross.
We are thrilled to welcome a Vivien to CCNS. He spent much of his summer off from college at the office, getting know to many of our clients, and helping us plan some fun CCNS projects that are coming up!
CCNS athletes have been enjoying solid early season results during the months of March and April. Whether you are a new racer or a seasoned master, congratulations to everyone who is seeing the rewards for their hard training!
