SUNDAY 1) The KISS 100 Race Series – America (9:15AM EST) 2) The CCNS Group Ride, socially-distanced, from CCNS offices in Middletown, CT (9AM). MONDAY CCNS Active Recovery Ride (6-7AM EST) Get the week off to a good start, spin out the legs, and collect some time/mileage for your totals before the real fun starts.

Next Tuesday, December 29th, as part of CCNS’ Wintertide Rising Challenge, Coach Aidan will host a fun, 20-questions style ride up Alp du Zwift with WorldTeam Jumbo–Visma rider Sepp Kuss and Peter Thomson from Thomson BIke Tours. This will be open to all.

CCNS TTT Challenge Week 2 Highlights
Week two of the #CCNSTTTChallenge opened up with an impressive victory of the Zwifting IRL team taking the win over Cheshire Cycle. They did so as the visiting team as well! On the women’s side, Cinch Cycling did the same, coming onto the home course of CCNS/NHBC and taking the victory.

The CCNS TTT Series
The goal of the CCNS TTT Series is to give teams and friends the opportunity to race outdoors in the face of current limitations that are affecting mass-start events. Series TT’s can be run when it is convenient for each team, and winners are determined by Strava segment times.

#CCNSBreaking4 Recap
Phew! That was tough. Congratulations to Aidan and CCNS athlete Lucas Huesman. They were the only ones to finish the Breaking 4 Challenge in under 4 hours. It was close! The duo needed a bit of pacing from Coach Vivien, who dropped off the lead pace and sat up to be lapped 20 min later.

CCNS Athlete Adam Marong
Yale Police Department Patrol Officer Adam Marong has been a CCNS athlete for nearly a year. He finished off the 2019 season strong, and he continued to make significant progress through offseason training. He was able to race twice at the Frozen Four criteriums in Plainville before the COVID-19 crisis started.
