If you have ever been to the CCNS HQ or any CCNS events in the last 8 years, you have probably met Coach Hunter. He is the master of our lab testing and bike fits, a go-to for events, coaches one of the CCAP’s most prominent Junior Teams, the Rail Trailers, and is an all-around […]
CCNS Athlete Vassos Kyprianou started riding & racing in the early ’90s. He raced a lot for the first few years, sometimes north of 65 races in a season (wow!). He was a staple at the Bethel Spring series every year while joining in on events like KSR as a Masters 50+ racer.
CCNS athlete Bill Strebel is starting his second career as an endurance athlete. An accomplished Pro-Am rider as a twenty-something, he is now back at it, having more fun than he ever has, and making great progress by sticking to his training plan. In the span of 5 months, he dropped nearly 20 pounds and […]
Riding 200 miles in one day is a feat that relatively few cyclists attempt! If this is on your bucket list, 2021 is your year to give it a go. This June, Coach Hunter will lead riders on the famed 200 on 100, Canada-to-Massachusetts route in Vermont. Here is what you can expect: Pre-ride planning […]

The 2020/21 CCNS Wintertide Rising Challenge is in the books, and WOW, this one was one to remember! Together we racked up the most hours ridden of any previous Wintertide Rising Challenges! We had 10 riders go over 30-hours, and 90 riders go over the 15-hour mark.
It went down to the last hour of riding on Saturday. To be the lone leader, both Dale Perzanowski and Arun Pandy went to incredible lengths to exceed Rustico’s mind-blowing total. Dale’s Saturday total of nearly 14 hours (315 miles) on Zwift was enough to be crowned Wintertide Rising Champ.
One more day remains for this year’s Wintertide Rising Challenge! This is the most riders we’ve ever seen go over the 30-hour mark. Looking down the list, it’s not crazy to say that over 100 riders (more than 2/3rds) have set themselves up to go over the 15-hour mark! That would be incredible.
After day five Team Off the Front has all but locked in the win. They went out and as team, were able to go faster than Coach Ben’s solo Watopia Figure Eight course time. This netted them 500 miles and it leaves just ~25 miles to go for Friday’s riding.
